HYPE LIGHTER

So I woke up Monday morning to a whole slew of orders for the brand new Diamond Rings / PS I Love You vinyl thanks to a nice review on Pitchfork, which was followed up by a post on the Urban Outfitters blog. Consequently, the last few days have basically consisted of a bunch of trips to and from the nearest Staples for envelopes, stamps, and photocopies. Not to mention folding lots of album covers.

Speaking of which, thanks so much to everyone that ordered the album so far! Both myself and my pals in PS I Love You totally appreciate the support. Make sure to get yours soon though, cause they’re seriously running out!

On that note…is there any way that Urban Outfitters can send me some free pants or something?

Hey peeps.  The world wide web is all a-twitter as reviews of the new Diamond Rings video keep pouring in from all corners.  Directed by Colin Medley, with makeup and choreography by Lisa Howard, this shit is burning up the blogosphere!  Get it while it’s hott.

Just so you know, Diamond Rings (that’s me) will be playing a free show at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto tonight as part of the weekly Granny Boots concert series.  Doors are at 7:30 pm and get there early cause we’ll be screening the video at 8, along with great clips from Katie Stelmanis, Emma McKenna, and Ohbijou!
