Hype Lighter was founded in 2009 as a means of promoting exciting developments in art and music. We design and distribute limited edition 7″ vinyl records in addition to keeping tabs on a small selection of artists, musicians, and creative professionals. John O’Regan is a multi-platform artist and the founder of Hype Lighter. Widely known for his work as both the solo pop persona Diamond Rings and the lead vocalist in alt-rock group Matters, he has performed for audiences across Canada, the United States and Europe.
