If I Were A (Trailer Park) Boy
I’ve made no secret in the past few years of my love for Marfa, Texas. In 2011, my bestie Colin Medley shot a video for the PS I Love You + Diamond Rings co-write “Leftovers” at the El Cosmico trailer park just outside of downtown. Since then my team and I have stayed over nearly every single time we tour the south.
Where’s this going? Well, for whatever reason I decided to visit Beyonce’s Tumblr this afternoon. To my surprise, I found some photos of her and her gang not only hanging out in Marfa, but hanging out in the exact same trailer where we shot our video! Skip the clip ahead to 2:05 and cross-reference with the candid photos of Beyonce below. I know she’s an independent woman but I still didn’t expect her to be the drinking beer in bed type. The more you learn!
