Drake dresses up as a Shopper’s Drug Mart employee in the official video for his latest single “Started From The Bottom”. Other highlights include scenes of him dancing on top of an OVO sponsored billboard off the Gardiner Expressway and a badass slo-mo shot of his Mom posing up infront of her house in Forest Hill. Oh yeah, and lots of partying.
Ronney Abramson performs her 1979 single “Light Up Your Love” (True North) at the Danforth Music Festival in 2007. Don’t let the CD duplication commercial at the beginning deter you. This is a gem.

I first saw Kids On TV perform live six years ago. Suffice to say, they totally blew my mind. It was as if a crack team of sonic commandos had landed in my midst for the sole purpose of actualizing a super-stylized world of self-determined queer positive liberation. It was – in one word – amazing.
I have since had the pleasure of working alongside band member John Caffery on a number of my own projects and always feel so inspired when in the presence of his energy. To say that being featured in the video for their new single “Bobby” (above) was an honour would be an understatement. I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing today if it were not for this band’s direct influence. Thank you KOTV!
The clip was directed by John and filmed this past month in Kensington Market, Toronto.
